Day 6 – Photography 101: Connect

Photography 101: Connect

In today’s world, we’re more connected than ever. How will you capture our theme, connect, through your lens?

There are so many meanings of connect so I had to look it up to get a full understanding. So a definition of connect is: bring together or into contact so that a real or notional link is established.

This picture was taken in Costa Maya. He is showing how to climb the tree to get us a coconut to husk. We then got to taste the fresh coconut.

I’ve seen men climbing like this to get dates. Amazing how they can get such a good grip

Looks like Jamaica. We climb coconut trees the same way. Not every one can do it. It takes years of practice. Being a country boy is a criteria it seems

Here in Indonesia we normally make cracks on a coconut tree to get us easier to the top. Btw, I love coconut water. Our family are connected to the magic of the tree 🙂
