I am honored to be nominated for the Liebster Award and want to thank Sky Blue Daze for nominating me. It is heartening to have other writers give me recognition for my posts.

The Liebster Award has German origins. The word “liebster” has several definitions: dearest, sweetest, kindest, nicest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, welcome, sweetheart and boyfriend. It aims to discover new bloggers and welcome them to the blogosphere. Bloggers award other bloggers.

11 Random Facts about Me:

1. My husband and I vacation every year at Walt Disney World and we are Vacation Club Members. Besides loving Disney World also what draws us there is to visit my niece who is a Chef at Animal Kingdom.
2. We love to cruise. We have gone on at least 15. So I am what you call a cruise-a-holic.
3. Before I joined the military I was a butcher.
4. Since I have retired I have taken up photography.
5. I am an avid scrapbooker. I spent many hours creating scrapbooks for my nieces and nephew. I created a book for them that encompassed there whole high school experience.
6. I love to spend time at a campground.
7. I have four siblings. My oldest brother is blind and my oldest sister has Cerebral Palsy.
8. For high school I went to an all-girl school. And the all-boys school was 2 blocks away.
9. I met my husband in California I was from Michigan and he was from San Antonio TX.
10. When I joined the Air Force there were not many woman in the job field I chose. The training class I was in had 35 males and 3 females. My job was very similar to the Occupational, Safety and Health Administration or otherwise known as OSHA, I have to say this was also 35 years ago.
11. I love feeding the wildlife.

1. Why did you decide to start to blog?

I retired and wanted to share my experiences and my many craft ideas and projects.

2. What is your favorite memory?

Growing up in a large family. My father had 11 brothers and sisters, so you can image how many cousins I had. During the summer we had family picnics almost every Sunday and as many that could would show up at my uncle’s farm.

3. Who inspires you?

My oldest brother who is blind and my oldest sister who has Cerebral Palsy.

4. What is your current goal in life?

To be the best I can be and to make others happy.

5. How would you describe yourself?

Fun loving, giving and helpful to others.

6. How much wood could a Woodchuck chuck if a Woodchuck could chuck wood?

A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

7. What do you do for Fun?

That is easy, Scrapbook and take pictures with my new camera.

8. What is your dream vacation?

Cruising to Hawaii with my husband.

9. What is your favorite Quote?

10. Do you enjoy running a blog?

Definitely, it is a time for me to go into my own little world and write.

11. What do you plan to do now?

Since I am retired anything I want to!
