April is Month of the Military Child, and this Friday is Purple Up! day. This initiative provides an opportunity for Americans to show their support for military families by wearing purple. The goal of ‘Purple Up!’ is for military youth to actually see the support in their school, youth groups and the community. The color purple was chosen as the signature color as it symbolizes all branches of the military.
